Automation

Automation is about handing repeated work to software so people can spend their time on the parts that need judgment. Here I write about the automations I build and run: what each one does, how you could apply it, where it helps, where it breaks, and what it costs to build and keep running.

The main tool in this hub is n8n, a workflow automation platform that connects apps, webhooks and AI models without writing a full application for every job. Many workflows here also use large language models through OpenRouter, the Meta messaging platform for Facebook Messenger and Instagram, and APIs from Google and Telegram.

What I have built in this area: an AI chatbot for Facebook Messenger and Instagram, made with n8n and OpenRouter, that answers inquiries, books consultations and logs leads automatically. For the VITE SEO Digital Advertising ERP I worked on 5 n8n outreach workflows and a Python lead-discovery scraper. I also built a multi-agent Claude Code pipeline that audits a full production codebase in under 6 minutes, custom Claude skills for documents, sales replies, ad audits and local lead research, and the Archive Downloader for saving web pages ahead of site rebuilds.

Every post tries to be honest about trade-offs, because an automation that breaks quietly can cost more than the manual work it replaced.
